1 Market orders are often filled more quickly than other order types. Please note that because the bid or ask price can change at any time, your order's fill price may be materially different than the quote received.
2 This is end of day for “day orders” or on the day specified for “good till orders”. You can also enter a “good till cancelled” order.
3 A stop-limit buy order may be used to trigger a buy order up to an acceptable maximum if the price increases to your specified trigger, or to limit a possible loss in a short sale. A stop-limit sell order may be used to protect against declining prices or to limit a possible loss.
4 The placement of contingent orders, such as a stop-limit order, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amount, since market conditions may make it impossible to execute your orders. A stop-limit order will only capture fills at or better than the limit price with the possibility of no fill (or a partial fill) if a security trades through both the trigger price and the limit price.
